TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan has drafted new guidelines that would reverse a decades-old ban on weapons exports, a source with knowledge of the matter said on Sunday, a move that could further strain ties with neighbors China and South Korea.

Tokyo has been reviewing the self-imposed export ban under Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's new security strategy, aimed at bolstering the self-reliance of the military.

The proposed revision could draw criticism from China and South Korea, where resentment over Japan's wartime aggression still runs deep. Beijing and Seoul also have long-running territorial disputes with Tokyo over different sets of islets.

Japan drew up the "three principles" on arms exports in 1967, banning sales to countries with communist governments or those involved in international conflicts or subject to United Nations sanctions.

But the rules over time became tantamount to a blanket ban on exports - with some exceptions - and on the development and production of weapons with countries other than the United States.

Japan was thrown under the bus by American capitalists locked in a lucrative deal between them and Chinese RED capitalists.
Not only is Japan thrown under the bus, but so was the American people, by the same American capitalists.
What the US government does not see is the fact that with a shrinking American middle class, the American tax base has shrunk as well, and government has not enough funds to cover services and defense. Hence government had to borrow from China to cover those expenses.
Why did you think that 47% of Americans do not pay taxes? With what would they pay when they have no jobs or low income jobs?

Abe became a prime minister for the second time.Yes it's true but in his first time he became one he quit because he is weak and was depressed.It doesn't mean he is good that is why he got a second chance. In his second time he wants to prove the world he is intelligent and strong but the truth ids he is not. He only wants approval from everybody with his Abenomics which in fact is *** life difficult for every Japanese.I know it because I am one.

It is now time for Japan and its neighbors to heavily rearm even with nuclear weapons. With a huge country like China now becoming very militaristic it will level the playing field and force China to rethink any foolish move that they might make. It is called (MAD) Mutual Assured Destruction. That way nobody wins.

I have long wished more countries have this "mother of all bombs" too so that many idiotic American posters won't dare to keep calling for their country to nuke this nation, that nation.
So how about letting Iran, Syria, Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, Indonesia, etc have these bombs as well?
Better still how about letting "freedom fighters" groups like Al-Qaeda, Talibans, Al-Shabbab,etc have just a few bombs each?
Conclusion: It will make the level of playing field even more interesting, right?

It looks like other countries will get more choices. If Japan can provide descent weapons with reasonable prices, many countries will save some money for their weapon procurement.
