Amassive explosion followed by a fire at a pair of apartment buildings in upper Manhattan on Wednesdayhas left three people dead and at least 60 injured, officials say.

I know someone who was asleep during a ga***plosion in front of his house. Blew the entire front of the house off - hewalked out in a daze and just sat on the curb not knowing what happened. Turnedout it was the gas company's fault. Happy to say he wasn't hurt, just shook up.

I just don't understand how people willingly livein such deplorable conditions with their children. They live like rats in slumlike conditions. Can you imagine waking up day in and day out in such filth.What would make a person live like that? I know someone who was asleep during a ga***plosion in front of his house. Blew the entire front of the house off - hewalked out in a daze and just sat on the curb not knowing what happened. Turnedout it was the gas company's fault. Happy to say he wasn't hurt, just shook up.

I just don't understand how people willingly livein such deplorable conditions with their children. They live like rats in slumlike conditions. Can you imagine waking up day in and day out in such filth.What would make a person live like that?
