【英国网友】好评：摔死婴儿的中国驾驶员执行死刑

Chinatoday executed a man who killed a two-year-old girl by throwing her on theground following a row with her mother over a parking space.

中国今天对摔死一名两岁婴儿的司机执行了死刑。这名司机在与孩子母亲就停车位问题争吵后做出了该举动。

Han Lei was sentenced to death in Septemberafter the incident in which he confronted the child's mother in a car park in Beijing, claiming hershopping trolley was in his way.

事发北京的一处停车场，发生该事件后，韩磊九月份被判处死刑。

During the altercation in July, he beat thewoman to the ground, snatched the child from her buggy and raised her above hishead before throwing her to the ground.

事发今年七月份，他将这名妇女打倒在地，随后将婴儿从童车中抢夺过来并狠狠的将婴儿摔在地上。

He and a friend in the vehicle then drove away. The toddler died two days laterof her injuries, provoking widespread public outrage.

Han was sentenced to death two months afterthe incident. He appealed against the penalty without success.

两个月后他被判处死刑。他提出上诉，但没有成功。

He had claimed to have been drunk and told Beijing No. 1 Intermediate People'sCourt during his trial he believed he was only throwing a trolley to theground.

他说自己当时喝醉了，并对北京第一中级人民法院说他以为当时自己摔的是手推车。

He asked for the charge of intentionalhomicide to be reduced to involuntary homicide, which carries a sentence ofbetween three and seven years instead of a mandatory life sentence.

他要求将故意杀人的指控减轻为过失杀人，过失杀人只要判3到7年，而不是强制性的终身监禁。

But China's Supreme Court approved thesentence and he was executed on Friday, the Beijing No. 1 Intermediate People'sCourt said on a verified microblog account.

但是中国最高法院同意了这个判决，他于周五被执行死刑，这家北京法院在其微博帐号发布了该消息。

Han was sentenced to life in prison in 1996for stealing a car but was released 2012 after the sentence was commuted, thereports said.

韩磊因偷车于1996年被判处终身监禁，但减刑后于2012年释放。

A second man, Li Ming, who drove Han awayfrom the scene, was sentenced to five years in prison for hiding the suspect atthe original trial.

当时开车将韩磊带离现场的李明一审中因窝藏嫌烦被判处5年监禁。
