At least in our country people don't essentially opt for these processed foods on a daily basis. But when our children like them, we don't mind taking them to these outlet once in a while. But when we learn about such news, we don't want to risk the health of our family by feeding them with expired or unhealthy food.

How about India? Are these food joints giving unexpired food to Indian or they are getting the supplies from the same sources? What are the checks by the government? We have to see this trend to be careful. They can do anything for their higher profits like any other unethical local.

There has been at least 3 or 4 stories that I would have read about KFC outlets in India, where worms were found on the chicken they served. These international brands (in India) wish to retain the glam quotient while take no efforts to ensure the quality of food they serve. If that's the case in India, it is the same in China as well. McD and KFC have established as most sought after brands, but to sustain they need to keep a check on their franchises and ensure that quality food is served to their customers.

我有看过三四篇这样的报道，说印度肯德基店里卖的鸡肉上发现了虫子。进入印度的这些国际品牌既想要保住市场份额，又不花心思去确保其供应食品的质量。既然印度如此，那么中国也一样。麦当劳和肯德基已经成为最受欢迎品牌，为了维持这一声誉，就得对各门店加以控制，确保向客人供应健康食品。

If this is happening in China there are high chances that similar situations can arise in the 2nd most populous country India. Most of the products that we use in our daily lives are of low value/quality (Mainly the products of leading foreign companies like Unilever,etc..) when compared with the products sold under the same brand name in developed countries. Are the consumers in Developing countries like India not worthy of using good quality products??

China is the country which is much advanced and considered to be the fstest growing economy in the world. They have systems in place and ppl know how to do business. Even though the language is a big barrier, still they are much advanced when it is compared with India. KFC and other Intl. brands are struggling to keep the quality and faith in other parts of the world. Whereas, in India everything is taken for granted. Even though we have proper mechanism to check all quality and the standard of the food, however, no body is bothered what the people are eating/drinking. The officials are not willing to leave their air conditioned office to check the parameters for food and water. Even after 60 years of independence, we do not have safe drinking water, quality food, hygienic living conditions.

在世界其他地方，肯德基等国际品牌努力保持所供应食品的质量，然而在印度，一切都是理所当然的。

虽然我们拥有监管质量的合理机制，但是根本就无人关心人们吃进去和喝进去的是什么。官员不愿意离开空调办公室去检查食品和饮用水的指标。

独立60年了，我们仍然喝不到安全的饮用水，吃不到安全的食物，居住环境的卫生条件仍然很差。
